Coaches and the Hope College athletic department gather each spring to honor seniors and celebrate their participation in Hope Athletics.
This tradition began many years ago with the H-Club Blanket ceremony and has continued online this month with the presentation of the 10th annual HOPEYs. The HOPEYs were created in part to enhance the annual ceremony and to generate a greater awareness of the H-Club.
The H-Club is formed of athletic alumni who support Hope College through active interest and promotion of the athletic program as an important part of the educational process.
An athlete automatically becomes a member of the H-Club when they complete at least one season of a varsity or junior varsity sport at Hope College.
This year, we honor our seniors who participated in athletics during their senior year and earned a letter in their final season.
Those designated with an asterisk are blanket award winners after being student-athletes who have earned at least three varsity letters, with one earned during their senior year.
