Hope College's Olivia Voskuil has been selected as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week.
The senior from Holland, Michigan (Holland Christian HS) is receiving the honor for the fourth time in her career and the first time this season.
Voskuil recorded back-to-back double-doubles for the top-ranked Flying Dutch during victories against Calvin University and Aquinas College last week.
The civil engineering major averaged 16.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, and 3.0 steals over two games.
During a 91-42 victory against Calvin on Wednesday, Voskuil scored a career-high 19 points on 66.7 percent shooting from the field and 100 percent from the foul line (6-6). Voskuil also grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds, blocked four shots, and collected three steals in just 18 minutes.
During a 78-51 victory against Aquinas on Saturday, Voskuil totaled 13 points, 11 rebounds, four blocks, and three steals in 20 minutes. Voskuil made both of her two 3-point attempts.
