Purple Community Football Game Kickoff Moved Up to Noon This Saturday

 
The kickoff time for the Hope College-University of Northwestern (Minnesota) game at Ray and Sue Smith Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 25, has been moved up to noon.
 
The game is the annual Purple Community event for Hope. The Flying Dutchmen will wear special purple jerseys during the game that feature the names of loved ones and friends impacted by cancer and other diseases. 

Fans are encouraged to wear purple to the game. There will be additional Purple Community events on Saturday.

On Thursday, Sept. 23, the "Huge Show" will broadcast live on WHTC 99.7 FM and 1450 WHTC,  and statewide across Michigan from the Jim Heeringa Athletic Center from 3-6 p.m. Host Bill Simonson will interview Flying Dutchmen football coaches and student-athletes.

Purple Community is the Van Andel Institute's grassroots community awareness and fundraising program.
