The No.1 - ranked Flying Dutchmen allowed just one goal against the Bulldogs, with a shutout win from freshman Maclane Schick (18/18), pictured right, and a 21 save win from senior Lukas Schut on Friday night.

With two players grabbing four points, and three players picking up three points in the two-game series, the Flying Dutch remain undefeated this season, sitting at 19-0.

Kevin Healy (Rockford, MI / Rockford HS) put in a single goal in the 5-1 win and notched two goals in the 7-0 win. Healy tallied a single assist in the two wins to earn a four point weekend, and his one goal was the game-winner in the 7-0 win. Gabe Gunneson (Rockford, MI / Forest Hills Northern) was the other Flying Dutchmen to record a four point weekend. Gunneson had four assists in two games.

Max Mones (Portage, MI / Portage Central), who had the game-winning-goal in the 5-1 win, ended the home-and-home series with a goal and two assists. Lucas Barber (Lake Orion, MI / Lake Orion) picked up three points (1g/2a) in the big weekend for Hope College, and Cole Stenstrom (1g/2a) also nabbed three points in two games.

The Flying Dutchmen had a total of 19 powerplay opportunities in two games, 10 occuring in the second game where the blue and orange picked up six powerplay goals on Ferris State. Of those six powerplay goals, all three third period goals came with the man advantage.
