Hope College Women's Basketball Game Notes: National Semifinal vs. Trine

Three Hope basketball players and one coach talk during an NCAA Division III Championships press conference. by Alan Babbitt

Sydney Muller used to play against Olivia Voskuil and Kenedy Schoonveld on the basketball court before becoming teammates at Hope College.

On the eve of the NCAA Division III national semifinals in Pittsburgh, Muller reflected on her memorable games at Grand Rapids Christian High School against Holland Christian, where Voskuil and Schoonveld played.

"We still bring it up to this day," Muller said during Wednesday's NCAA press conference at Duquesne University;'s UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. "To be able to play with them is such an honor. They are probably hands down the best two basketball players that I've ever played with in my life. Having that four years that I have gotten to play with them has not only helped me grow as a basketball player but it's helped me grow as a person as well."

Muller has played with Voskuil and Schoonveld for four seasons after transferring to Hope prior to the 2018-19 season.
