Hope College outfielder Evan Maday has been named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week, the organization announced on Wednesday.

The fifth-year senior is receiving the honor for the first time.

Maday (Grand Rapids, Michigan / East Kentwood HS) batted .667 during five games last week and helped the Flying Dutchmen win four of them.

He hit 14-of-21 with three doubles and two triples. He totaled nine RBIs, eight runs scored and stole at least one base in four games.

During a March 18 sweep of Grace Christian University, Maday became the Flying Dutchmen's all-time hits leader. 

During Friday's 13-5 win against then- 13th-ranked Johns Hopkins University (Md.x), Maday went 5-for-6 with a triple and a double; he also scored two runs and collected two RBIs.

On Monday, Maday was named MIAA Baseball's Position Player of the Week
