The women's golf team held their ground with another third place finish in the third MIAA Jamboree on Saturday.
With a team score of 319 at the Pine River Country Club course in Alma, Michigan, the Flying Dutch remain in third place overall, behind St Mary's and Adrian College, in second and first place respectively.
Senior Grace VanDellen (Oxford, Michigan / Lutheran Northwest HS) led Hope in the third installment of the MIAA jamborees with a 76, marking her lowest score of the season. VanDellen finished the day tied for fifth place, just three strokes behind first place.
Junior Emlin Munch (Traverse City, Michigan / Central) finished number two for Hope, and tied for ninth in the field, carding a 78, also marking her lowest score of the season.
Rita Cheney (Mason, Michigan / Mason) shot an 81, while Lauren Sass ended the day with an 84.
Abby Fansler (Muskegon, Michigan / Reeths - Puffer) fired a 95.
The Flying Dutch head back to the links on Thursday, September 29th at 1 p.m. for the fourth MIAA Jamboree hosted by Olivet College.
