Men's Basketball Lands Three All-MIAA Selections

Three members of the Hope College men's basketball team have claimed All-MIAA distinction for the 2022-23 season from the league's coaches.

Senior forward Evan Thomas is one of six first-team honorees for the second consecutive season.

Senior guard Clayton Dykhouse and sophomore center Gabe Quillan are two of six second-team recipients.

Thomas (Okemos, Michigan / Okemos HS) battled through an injury-hampered season to average 16.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in MIAA play. The biology major ranked sixth in the league in scoring average for MIAA games. Thomas was MIAA MVP as a junior.

Dykhouse (Zeeland, Michigan / Zeeland East) ranked 11th in the MIAA in scoring at 12.7 points per league game. The education major also was third in free-throw percentage at 79.4. Dykhouse made the All-MIAA First Team as a junior.

Quillan (Ada, Michigan, Grand Rapids, Michigan / Catholic Central) finished ninth in the MIAA in scoring at 14.4 points per game. Quillan also was second in MIAA in rebounding at 8.6 per league game.
