The Hope College women's lacrosse team fell on Saturday afternoon to DePauw University, 18-7. 
The Flying Dutch are now 1-3 overall this season. 
Sophomores Kerrigan Brown (DeWitt, Michigan / DeWitt HS) and Ruthie Anderson (Lowell, Michigan / Lowell) each notched two goals in the road game, 
Junior Molly Frederickson (Alto, Michigan / Lowell) and Brown finished the Flying Dutch's fourth game with a team-high three points with Frederickson tallying a single goal and two assists, while Brown put up two goals and one assist. 
Frederickson led Hope with four ground balls and four caused-turnovers. 
Junior goaltender Maddie Yakes (Rockford, Michigan / Rockford) made four saves while freshman goaltender Samantha Smith (Westfield, Indiana / Westfield) tallied one save. 
Hope topped DePauw 16-10 in draw controls, but was outshot 34-11. 
Hope's next match is Saturday, March 18 at 11 a.m. as they host Otterbein University at Van Andel Soccer Stadium.
