Hope College ranked 11th in the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Deb Vercauteren Program of the Year Award standings for NCAA Division III.
The Flying Dutch totaled 51 points in the 2022-23 standings after posting Top 20 finishes in each of the three NCAA Championships: cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field.
Hope finished one point out of the Top 10, edged by Emory University's 50 points.
Washington University in St. Louis claimed the title with 11 points. The University of Chicago and Johns Hopkins University (Md.) tied for second with 13 points.
Led by head coach Mark Northuis, Hope finished 13th at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships in November in Lansing.
Senior Ana Tucker (Midland, Michigan / H.H. Dow HS) clocked a 6k time of 22 minutes, 2.1 seconds to match the school record for individual competitors at the NCAA Championships of fourth place.
Senior Ellie Jankowski (Granger, Indiana / Penn) was Hope's second finisher, running a 6k time of 23:24.3 for 94th place.
Just 24 seconds behind Jankowski was junior Rebecca Markham (Hoffman Estates, Illinois / William Fremd)Â in 145th clocking in at 23:48.2.Â
Senior Anna Mason (Zeeland, Michigan / Libertas Christian) wasn't far behind Markham, finishing 149th with a time of 23:48.9.Â
Led by head coach Kevin Cole, Hope took 18th at both the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in March in Birmingham, Alabama, and at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in May in Rochester, N.Y.
At indoor nationals, Tucker scored all of Hope's points by finishing national runner-up in the 1-mile run and placing fourth in the 3,000 meters. The exercise science major was All-American in both events.
At outdoor nationals, Tucker repeated her feat by producing all of the Flying Dutch's points with a pair of All-America efforts: third place in the 5,000 meters and fourth place in the 10,000 meters.
The Flying Dutch swept all three MIAA titles in those sports this school year.
