The second-ranked Hope College volleyball team remains unbeaten in MIAA league play after the second sweep of a league opponent this season.
The Flying Dutch took down Saint Mary's College in straight sets on Saturday at DeVos Fieldhouse, 25-7, 25-15, 25-22.
The win marked Hope's third consecutive sweep of its opponent.
The Flying Dutch (13-2, 2-0 MIAA) meant business as they controlled game play in the first set en route to their match hitting percentage of .300.
Junior Lauren Lee (Plymouth, Michigan / Skyline HS), the NCAA and MIAA leader in assists per set, put up 14 assists in the win.
Junior Gracie Allen (Edwards, Colorado / Vail Christian) added 13 assists.
Hope served out seven aces during the match, with Lee dishing out a match-high four.
Senior Addie VanderWeide (Grand Rapids, Michigan / Grand Rapids Christian) paced all Flying Dutch hitters with 12 kills in the win.
Senior Alison DeWeerd (Kentwood, Michigan / South Christian) recorded eight kills. Freshman Olivia Wyma (Hartland, Wisconsin / Arrowhead) contributed six kills.
VanderWeide also led Hope with 9 digs against Saint Mary's.
Senior Samantha Seib (Elkhorn, Wisconsin / Catholic Central) recorded six digs.
DeWeerd and sophomore Kamryn Burbridge (Grand Haven, Michigan / Grand Haven) shared a match-high five blocks.
The Flying Dutch held Saint Mary's to a .061 team hitting percentage, the second lowest for an opponent this season.
Hope continues league play on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 6:30 p.m. against Adrian College at DeVos Fieldhouse.
