ACHA Hockey Puts Five on All-Conference Teams

Defenseman Ian MacDonald and forward Jake Onstott also made the Dream Team

Five members of the Hope College ice hockey team have received all-conference honors from the Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference for the 2023-24 season.

Defenseman Ian MacDonald and forward Jake Onstott both made the six-player MCHC Dream Team and the six-player West Division First Team.

Three of their teammates claimed West Division Second Team honors: forward Jake Adams, defenseman Casen Faustyn and goalkeeper Maclane Schick.

MacDonald (Grand Haven, Michigan / Grand Haven HS) has anchored Hope's defense while chipping in 22 points on nine goals and 13 assists in 26 games. The junior is a mechanical engineering major.

Onstott (Zeeland, Michigan / Grand Rapids Catholic Central) ranks third in the MCHC with 42 points. The sophomore has collected 17 goals and 25 assists in 24 games.

Adams (East Grand Rapids, Michigan / East Grand Rapids) is tied for seventh in the conference with 31 points on six goals and 25 assists in 25 games. The senior is a communication major.

Faustyn (Okemos, Michigan / Okemos) has recorded two goals and 13 assists in 25 games while joining MacDonald in protecting the Flying Dutchmen net. The junior is a mechanical engineering major.

Schick (Kohler, Wisconsin / Kohler) is 12-3-0-1 with a 1.80 goals against average in 18 games. The junior is an exercise science major.
