Men's and Women's Swim/Dive Claim CSCAA Fall Academic Recognition

The Hope College men's and women's swimming diving programs have earned Fall Scholar All-America Team honors from the United States Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America.

Teams needed a 3.0 GPA or higher during the 2023 fall semester in order to qualify for the award.

The Flying Dutch recorded a 3.47 GPA with 37 women's swimmers and divers. They also qualified for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings with a GPA of 3.3 or higher.

The Flying Dutchmen finished with a 3.2 GPA with 36 swimmers and divers.

Led by head coach Jake Taber, both Hope teams have been nationally-ranked in the poll all season.

In the latest CSCAA poll for NCAA Division III, the Flying Dutch are 12th in the women's rankings, while the Flying Dutchmen are 19th.

Both teams next will compete on Wednesday-Saturday, Feb. 21-24, at the MIAA Championships Hope is hosting at the Holland Aquatic Center.
