Three members of Hope College lacrosse teams and one member of the Flying Dutchmen tennis team have earned weekly honors from the MIAA.

In men's lacrosse, senior Michael Mann (Plymouth, Michigan / Detroit Jesuit HS) is the MIAA Offensive Athlete of the Week, while junior Caden Brainard (Muskegon, Michigan / Reeths-Puffer) is the MIAA Specialist of the Week.

In women's lacrosse, sophomore Caleigh Randall (Lansing, Michigan / DeWitt) is the MIAA Specialist of the Week.

In men's tennis, junior Austin Becksvoort (Holland, Michigan / Holland Christian) is the MIAA Athlete of the Week.

Mann is the MIAA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for the first time this season and the fourth time in his career.

The public accounting and business major tied his own Hope record with eight goals in a game during an 18-10 victory at Virginia Wesleyan University on March 14.

The attacker also registered an assist and several disruptions on ridebacks.

Brainard is receiving his second career MIAA weekly award and first in the specialist category.

A face-off specialist, Brainard went 68.2% on the dot against Virginia Wesleyan while winning 15-of-22 attempts.

The mechanical engineering major recorded a season-high seven ground balls during the victory.

Randall is the MIAA Specialist of the Week in women's lacrosse for the first time after helping the Flying Dutch split their games in Oregon last week.

The sophomore elementary education major averaged 7.5 draw controls and 2.0 ground balls during a 15-9 victory at Willamette University and a 17-13 loss at George Fox University.

Randall scored a goal in each game.

Becksvoort is the MIAA Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career.

The chemistry and chemical engineering major posted a 4-1 singles record and a 5-1 doubles record last week over spring break in Orlando, Florida.

All five of Becksvoort's singles wins came in two sets. He and his partner did not give up more than four points during their doubles matches. Hope finished the trip down south with a 4-2 record.
