Three Named to All-MIAA Men's Tennis Team; Justin Fay Recipient of Stowe Sportsmanship Award

A talented Hope College men's tennis trio has received All-MIAA honors for the 2024 season: senior Justin Fay, freshman Rylan Doden and freshman Paul Schneider.

Fay (Naperville, Illinois / St. Francis HS) is one of six first-team selections.

Doden (Fort Wayne, Indiana / Blackhawk Christian) and Schneider (Fishers, Indiana / Hamilton Southeastern) are two of six second-team honorees.

MIAA coaches voted Fay as Hope's 24th recipient of the Dr. Allen B. Stowe Award. The sportsmanship award is in memory of the 1920 Kalamazoo College graduate and founder of the Hornets' tennis program.

Fay topped the Flying Dutchmen's singles and doubles lineups this season.

In doubles, Fay helped Hope go 5-2 at the No. 1 flight. The computer science major went 3-4 at No. 1 singles.

This is Fay's first All-MIAA accolade.

Schneider finished conference play with a 5-2 singles record and 4-2 doubles mark.

Doden posted a 4-3 MIAA record in singles and went 2-4 in doubles.
