Jaiden Winters Shoots Low Day 1 Round for Women's Golf at Olivet's Campbell Memorial

Sophomore Jaiden Winters carded an 8-over-par 80 at Medalist Golf Club in Marshall to lead the Hope College women's golf team during the first round of The University of Olivet's Kyle Campbell Memorial Tournament on Friday.

Winters (New Carlisle, Indiana / New Prairie HS) is tied for 14th place in the 92-golfer field heading into the final round on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 8;30 a.m.

The Flying Dutch recorded a team score of 338 and sit in seventh place. Trine University (305) is in first place.

Sophomore Kylie Gernaat (Kalamazoo, Michigan / Kalamazoo Christian) posted an 84 for Hope.

Senior Sarah Owens (Charlotte, Michigan / Charlotte) chipped in an 86.

Sophomore Allyson Zuidema (Northville, Michigan / Northville) carded an 88.

Junior Caydee Constant (Grand Haven, Michigan / Grand Haven) had a 97.
