Hope College forward Parker Hovey claimed MIAA Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week accolades for the second consecutive week.

Hovey (Shelby, Michigan / Hart) is honored after scoring a career-high 29 points during Saturday's 84-74 victory against defending Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion Wisconsin-Platteville at DeVos Fieldhouse.

The 6-5 junior shot 9-of-14 from the field (.643) and 10-of-12 at the free-throw line (.833). Hovey also made a career-high in free throws made.

Hovey also drew nine fouls, grabbed a team-best eight rebounds and recorded three steals in 30 minutes on the court.

It is the second career MIAA Athlete of the Week award for Hovey.
