Women's Soccer Places Five on United Soccer Coaches All-Region Teams

Defender Olivia Dieppa, goalkeeper Clara Feenstra, midfielder Ainsley Harris, defender Mia Hesley and forward Lina Rea were driving forces for a 12-win Hope College women's soccer team this season.

All five earned All-Region accolades from United Soccer Coaches, with Dieppa a first-team selection; Harris and Rea, second-team honorees; and Feenstra and Hesley, third-team recipients.

Dieppa (Hudsonville, Michigan / Hudsonville) contributed on both ends of the field, scoring a career-high nine goals in 19 games and supporting a defense that recorded nine shutouts. The senior exercise science major also was named to the All-MIAA First Team.

Harris (Zeeland, Michigan / Holland Christian) earned All-Region honors for the second consecutive season. The senior physical and health education major recorded six goals and three assists, earning All-MIAA First Team distinction for the third straight year.

Rea (Macomb, Michigan / Utica) received All-Region and All-MIAA honors for the first time. The senior exercise science major totaled career highs with eight goals and three assists.

Feenstra (Hudsonville, Michigan / Hudsonville) is an All-Region recipient for the first time. The junior secondary education and integrated science education major made 58 saves and posted a 1.06 goals-against average.

Hesley (Portage, Michigan / Portage Central) repeated as an All-Region selection. The sophomore exercise science major helped the Flying Dutch outscore opponents 35-13 in the 14 games she played.
