Keagan Pieri Chosen as MIAA Women's Lacrosse Coach of the Year

Hope College's Keagan Pieri has been named the 2025 MIAA Women's Lacrosse Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season.

In her sixth season, Pieri led the Flying Dutch to a historic third consecutive sweep of MIAA regular-season and tournament championships.

This spring, Hope became the first MIAA team to win three regular-season championships in a row and the second to win three tournament titles.

Hope went 7-0 in league play, outscoring MIAA opponents by a 137-48 margin.

The Flying Dutch finished with a 13-6 overall record after reaching the first round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Pieri coached eight All-MIAA honorees, including first-team selections Julia Brown, Kerrigan Brown, Caroline Curnutt, Juli Kirkpatrick, Caleigh Randall and Mia Skibins.

"I am honored, but our success would not happen if I weren't surrounded by an amazing staff [assistant coach Rich Pruszynski and head athletic trainer Tim Koberna] and didn't have a team full of incredible student-athletes. They are fantastic humans who work hard every day," Pieri said.
