This sports information team covers all 22 of our athletics teams, with pre- and post-event coverage, which means they're ultimately covering hundreds of matches, events, meets and games during the school year to keep parents, fans and media informed and excited about Hope Athletics. Before any team begins, they're also organizing 'media days,' for all 500+ athletes, capturing hundreds of video and photography assets to use throughout all the various marketing and media activities they develop for each athlete and team.
McMahon joined Hope College in 2021 as the digital communication and sports information coordinator, developing content and providing game-day coverage including press box coordination, statistical oversight, writing and publishing. She has a talent for creating compelling and engaging stories for the Hope Athletics' social media accounts and website that are enjoyed by fans, student-athletes, coaches and college staff.Â
Babbitt has served as the college's sports information director since 2013, overseeing publicity for Hope's varsity teams. He also manages content for the college athletics website and social media, and provides media coverage for both the men's and women's teams. Alan is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America, and serves as an assistant coordinator for the organization's Academic All-America program. He also votes in the national poll for D3Football.com.
