2025-26 Women's Golf Preview

Hope opens the season with a 36-hole event vs. Calvin

With a blend of upperclassmen and newcomers, the Hope College women's golf team aims to be on the upswing this season.

The Flying Dutch's roster of 12 features three seniors, four juniors and five freshmen.

Second-year head coach Megan Radaz '22 likes what she has seen so far from the group.

"I've seen a lot of great growth from the seniors just in the last year and seen them step up." said Radaz, who took over as head coach in December after serving as associate head coach. "We've got some promising freshmen who have risen to the challenge. Our juniors have, too. It's pretty cool to see that as well."

Hope is determined to improve on last season's fifth-place finish in the 108-hole MIAA seasonal standings. The Flying Dutch finished fifth in the inaugural MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll.

Radaz is proud of the work her golfers have done, and continue to do, to elevate their games.

"We're working hard on the mental part of golf and course management, including a sports performance specialist," Radaz said. "We're learning how to better work through different situations and shed those high numbers during a round."

ROSTER

Hope returns three of its leading scorers: senior Sara Muir (Ada, Michigan / Grand Rapids Christian HS), junior Jaiden Winters (New Carlisle, Indiana / New Prairie) and junior Allyson Zuidema (Northville, Michigan / Northville).

Winters posted a team-best 84.67 stroke average in MIAA rounds last season. Zuidema averaged 85.97, while Muir finished at 89.33.

Seniors Caydee Constant (Grand Haven, Michigan / Grand Haven) and Hannah Finch (Dexter, Michigan / Dexter) also return for the Flying Dutch.
