Volleyball's Lauren Lee Repeats as an Academic All-America® Selection by College Sports Communicators

Setter Lauren Lee has joined another group of elite Hope College volleyball student-athletes as a two-time selection to the Academic All-America® teams, chosen by College Sports Communicators.

The senior is the third member of the Flying Dutch to receive Academic All-America distinction multiple times during her career.

Lee (Plymouth, Michigan / Skyline) was a third-team selection this season after earning second-team honors as a junior. Addie VanderWeide '25 was honored as both a junior and senior, as was McKenna Otto '23.

This marks the 13th time a Hope volleyball standout has been chosen to the CSC, formerly College Sports Information Directors of America, Academic All-America® teams.

A biology major, Lee was a three-time American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America first-team selection and earned All-America recognition four times during her career.

The 2025 AVCA Region 7 Player of the Year and MIAA Most Valuable Player, Lee is a four-time All-MIAA selection who helped the Flying Dutch capture a three-peat of MIAA regular-season titles for the second time in program history.

Lee averaged 10.30 assists per set, ranking 11th nationally and first among MIAA setters. She also surpassed 5,000 career assists this season, a first for a Hope setter.
