Eight Women's Swimmers, Six Men's Quality for NCAA Division III Championships

The four-day meet runs from March 18-21 in Indianapolis

Fourteen swimmers from Hope College have qualified for next month's 2026 NCAA Division III National Championships in Indianapolis.

Eight women and six men will represent the MIAA champion Flying Dutch and Flying Dutchmen. Two Hope women's divers and one men's diver could join them if they qualify at this weekend's regional competition at Kalamazoo College.

The championships will be held Wednesday through Saturday, March 18-21, at the Indiana University Natatorium. Franklin College, the Indiana Sports Corp and the IU Natatorium will serve as hosts.

A total of 579 participants — 526 swimmers and 53 divers — will compete in the championships. Student-athletes qualified for the swimming portion by meeting the established minimum time in their respective events.

The Flying Dutch qualified five women's relays: the 200- and 400-yard medley relays and the 200-, 400- and 800-yard freestyle relays.

The Flying Dutchmen advanced in the men's 200- and 800-yard freestyle relays.
