Ten from Women's Track and Field Achieve USTFCCCA All-Great Lakes Region Distinction

Ten members of the Hope College women's track and field team earned All-Great Lakes Region honors for the 2026 indoor season from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association: seniors Frances Cozzens, Molly Durow and Sara Schermerhorn; juniors Mary England and Amanda Markham; sophomores Sofia Fisher and Lydia Rowe; and freshmen Jaidyn Klimp, Savana Monville and Miranda Sawvel.

All-region accolades are awarded to the top-8 individuals in each event from each region, as well as members of the region's top-8 relay teams.

Schermerhorn (Traverse City, Michigan / Traverse City West) led the Flying Dutch with All-Great Lakes Region recognition in five events, including three individual events: 60 meters, 200 meters, 400 meters.

In the distance medley relay, Markham (Hoffman Estates, Illinois / William Fremd), Sawvel (Laramie, Wyoming / Centennial), and Durow (Glenview, Illinois / Glenbrook South) received all-region honors in the distance medley relay alongside Schermerhorn.

Durow was also all-region in the mile.

In the 4x400 relay, Cozzens (Lyman, New Hampshire / Saint Johnsbury Academy) and Monville (Auburn, Michigan / Bay City Western) earned all-region honors along with Klimp and Schermerhorn.

England (Kalamazoo, Michigan / Kalamazoo Central) was honored for her performances in the 3,000 and 5,000 meters.

Klimp (Galesburg, Michigan / Galesburg Augusta) claimed all-region accolades in the high jump, 4x400 relay, and the pentathlon.

Fisher (Lombard, Illinois / Montini Catholic) earned all-region accolades in the 60 meters.

Rowe (Livonia, Michigan / Adlai E Stevenson) achieved all-region distinctions in the 60-meter hurdles.
