Women's Lacrosse Draws Rematch vs. Kalamazoo in MIAA Tournament Semifinals

The top-seeded Hope College women's lacrosse team begins another historic quest this week,  aiming to become the first program in league history to win four consecutive MIAA Tournament titles.

The Flying Dutch start the MIAA Tournament, presented by Collegiate Credit Union, with a semifinal match against Kalamazoo College on Tuesday, April 28, at 4 p.m. at Van Andel Stadium.

Tickets can be purchased through the MIAA website in advance or at the gate. The game will be streamed exclusively on the MIAA Sports Network.

Hope, the top seed and regular-season co-champion, draws an opponent who ended the Flying Dutch's MIAA-record, 26-game regular-season conference winning streak with a 12-10 victory on April 7 at Van Andel Stadium.

The fourth-seeded Hornets defeated fifth-seeded Trine University, 21-5, in Saturday's quarterfinals. Kalamazoo, winners of four games in a row, brings in a 10-8 overall record.

The Flying Dutch have a 12-3 overall record.

The Hope-Kalamazoo winner advances to the championship game to face either second-seeded Calvin University or third-seeded Adrian College.
