Women’s Basketball Makes WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll

The nationally ranked and MIAA Tournament champion Hope College women's basketball team excelled in the classroom, too.

The Flying Dutch made the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Top 25 Team Honor Roll for NCAA Division III by recording a team GPA of 3.738 during the 2025-26 academic year.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season.

On the court, Hope went 26-4 this season and finished eighth in the final WBCA Division III poll. Led by head coach Brian Morehouse, the Flying Dutch won the MIAA Tournament for the 18th time in program history and reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
