Six from Men’s Track and Field Chosen as USTFCCCA All-Academic Selections

Six Hope College men's track and field standouts have been selected as United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic recipients for the 2025-26 academic year: recent graduate Erickson Kunzler, sophomores Logan Begeman and Elias Kretchmar, and freshmen Luke Bellino, Aaron Hunt and Lincoln Phillips.

Each USTFCCCA division has specific criteria for qualification. In general, cumulative GPA and competition standards must be met for student-athletes and teams as a whole to be honored.

Kunzler (Marne, Michigan / Grand Rapids Catholic HS) majored in exercise science while running middle-distance events.

Begeman is a distance runner and mechanical engineering major from Portage, Michigan (Portage Central HS).

Kretchmar is a middle distance runner and mechanical engineering major from Granville, Ohio (Granville HS).

Bellino is a sprinter from Brighton, Michigan (Brighton HS).

Hunt is a thrower from Hudsonville, Michigan (Hudsonville HS).

Phillips is a multi-event athlete from Dorr, Michigan (Wayland HS).
