Six from Women’s Track and Field Named as USTFCCCA All-Academic Recipients

Six Hope College women's track and field standouts have been selected as United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic recipients for the 2025-26 academic year: recent graduates Molly Durow, Sara Schermerhorn and Ava Schmidt; and freshmen Jaidyn Klimp, Eliana Kotsonis, and Savana Monville.

Each USTFCCCA division has specific criteria for qualification. In general, cumulative GPA and competition standards must be met for student-athletes and teams as a whole to be honored.

Durow (Glenview, Illinois / Glenbrook South HS) majored in elementary education while claiming All-America honors in distance events in indoor and outdoor track and field.

Schermerhorn (Traverse City, Michigan / Traverse City West HS) majored in exercise science while sprinting to NCAA Division III national titles in the indoor and outdoor 400 meters and earning First Team All-America honors in the outdoor 200 meters.

Schmidt (Saline, Michigan / Saline HS) majored in business while running sprint events.

Monville (Auburn, Michigan / Bay City Western HS) is a sprinter.

Klimp (Galesburg, Michigan / Galesburg Augusta HS) is a multi-event student-athlete.

Kotsonis (Menominee Falls, Wisconsin / Hamilton HS) is a multi-event student-athlete.
