Three Men’s Golfers Selected as Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars

Three Hope College men's golfers have been named 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America: recent graduates Liam Casey and Klay Redman and sophomore Will Thomas.

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior, or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and
NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2 GPA. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.

Casey, a four-time All-MIAA First Team honoree from Northville, Michigan (Detroit Catholic Central HS), majored in business.

Redman, an All-MIAA First Team recipient as a senior from Dublin, Ohio (Dublin Coffman HS), majored in political science.

Thomas is a computer science major from Portage, Michigan (Portage Central HS), who garnered All-MIAA Second Team distinction.
