Kresge Natatorium in the Dow Center has served as the home for Hope's swimming and diving teams for 35 years.
The natatorium offers an L-shaped swimming pool with a diving area. It is used for practice and for some home dual meets.
The Flying Dutch and Flying Dutchmen also use the Holland Community Aquatic Center for events, including several Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championship events and the NCAA Division III men's and women's nationals in 2005.
The Dow Center has been utilized since it was open in the fall of 1978. It has been remodeled three times. An activity-oriented facility, it offers gymnasium areas for basketball, volleyball and a variety of other activities, as well as a running track, racquetball courts, classrooms, faculty offices, locker rooms and a two-story physical health facility with weight training and cardiovascular equipment. The Dow Center also houses the college's Department of Dance and Health Services.
