The nationally ranked Hope volleyball team serves up the start of the 2013 season this weekend at a two-day tournament at Bluffton (Ohio) University.

Coach Becky Schmidt's Flying Dutch, No. 5 in the preseason American Volleyball Coaches Association Preseason Poll, play twice on Friday — 5 p.m. against Bethany (W.V.) and 7 p.m. against Bluffton.

On Saturday, there will be no live stats from Bluffton when Hope plays Marietta (Ohio) at 10 a.m. and Case Western Reserve (Ohio) at 2 p.m. Check back here for results.

Hope is coming off a 29-5 season in which the Flying Dutch reached the 20-win mark for the eighth consecutive time and advanced to the second round of the national tournament in their fifth consecutive postseason appearance. Hope finished seventh in the final American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III poll.
