Howard Jalving, Ryan Shedd and Tommy Yamaoka are among the numerous notable achievers in the long, successful history of Hope men's golf program. Here are five facts to know about the Flying Dutchmen.

9

Best finish for the Flying Dutchmen at the NCAA Division III Championships. They came into the 2010 national tournament unranked in the national polls. Senior captain Steven Strock achieved All-America honors by finishing in a tie for 20th place among the 120 golfers and had a 74.25 stroke average for the tournament.

16

Number of MIAA titles for the Flying Dutchmen. Nine of them have come since 2000.

20

Jalving also won it again in 1950, one season after teammate Bill Kloote did. The Flying Dutchmen earn the honor seven consecutive times between 1998-2004.

63

76.5

He had tournament rounds of 77-75-78-76. Yamaoka was the national freshman of the year in 2005 and a two-time Most Valuable Golfer.
