Natalie Rahrig of the Hope College women's tennis team took first place in her flight at the Warhawk/Panther Invitational this weekend in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
The freshman from Fort Wayne, Indiana (Bishop Luers HS), won all three of her matches during the two-day tournament.
Rahrig defeated Wisconsin-Whitewater's Rachel Slemon 8-0 in Saturday's Flight 6 championship match.
The non-scoring tournament also saw sophomore Kelly Daniel of Zeeland, Michigan (Zeeland East HS), place third in Flight No. 3. Daniel defeated Wisconsin-Green Bay's Samm Pedersen 8-2 in their consolation final.
Hope also came in fourth in Flight 1 with junior Claire Cooper of Williamston, Michigan (Williamston HS).
The tournament was the Flying Dutch's last of the fall. They will compete next on Saturday, Feb. 7, at NCAA Division I Northern Illinois.
