Two Hope College runners placed in the top five at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Cross Country Championships and helped the Flying Dutchmen rise to second in the overall standings.
Hope scored 60 points to finish 18 points behind Calvin Saturday at Gainey Athletic Complex in Grand Rapids.
Senior Ben Zank of Midland, Michigan (H.H. Dow HS), topped the Flying Dutchmen with a third-place, 8K run of 25 minutes, 51 seconds.
Junior Joseph Beemer of St. Joseph, Michigan (St. Joseph HS), came in fifth at 25:53.
Senior Zach Zandbergen of Grandville, Michigan (Grandville HS), recorded a 10th-place time of 26:05.
Hope rounded out its scoring with sophomore Tyler Brinks of Commerce Township, Michigan (Walled Lake Northern HS), in 19th at 26:25 and sophomore Julian Morrison of Aurora, Illinois (Waubonsie Valley HS), in 23rd at 26:36.

Junior Kyle Anderson of Shorewood, Minnesota (Minnetonka HS), finished 25th at 26:51, while junior Ryan Boxeth of Saline, Michigan (Saline HS), was 27th at 26:56.
Hope finished 11 points of third-place Adrian. Trine (131) took fourth and was followed by Olivet (143), Albion (166), Alma (175) and Kalamazoo (183).
The Flying Dutchmen will compete next at the NCAA Division III Regional on Saturday, Nov. 15, in King Island, Ohio.
