The Hope women's swimming & diving team recorded three second-place performances during the first day of the Patrick Woehnker Invitational at Wabash, Indiana, College, on Friday.
The Flying Dutch have 205 points for second place behind DePauw, Indiana, University, which has 306 points.
Senior Emily Weber of Milan, Michigan (Milan HS), came in second in the 50-yard freestyle. She posted a time of 25.69 seconds.
Junior Michelle Hance of Noblesville, Indiana (Noblesville HS), senior Luisa Burgess of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Taylor Allderice HS), Weber and junior Klare Northuis of Holland, Michigan (Holland HS), took second in the 200 freestyle relay. They had a time of 1:42.68.
Northuis, junior Jorgie Watson of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Catholic Central HS), freshman Chloe Palajac of Dearborn, Michigan (Dearborn HS), and sophomore Molly Meyer of South Bend, Indiana (John Adams HS), were runner-up in the 400 medley relay at 4:08.80.
Palajac placed third in the 500 freestyle with a swim of 5:19.63.
Junior Lindsay Wiederhold of Plainwell, Michigan (Plainwell HS), finished third in the 200 individual medley. She had a swim of 2:18.35.
