Hope College swimmer Chloe Palajac has been chosen the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week for meets through Nov. 2.

The freshman from Dearborn, Michigan (Dearborn HS), was a double winner for the Flying Dutch during their 137-52 MIAA dual meet victory against Olivet.

Palajac set an Olivet pool record in winning the 200 individual medley in 2:14.89 and took the 100 backstroke in 1:05.48.

It is the MIAA weekly honor for Palajac.

Hope returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 8, when the Flying Dutch host Kalamazoo for a MIAA dual meet at 1 p.m. at Kresge Natatorium.
