The Hope College women's swimming & diving team earned a 155-145 win against visiting Kalamazoo on Saturday while posting the top performances in six events.
The Flying Dutch are now 3-0 in MIAA duals this season.
Sophomore Molly Meyer of South Bend, Indiana (John Adams HS), took first in the 100-yard backstroke by recording a time of 1 minute, 00.66 seconds. Junior Klare Northuis of Holland, Michigan (Holland HS), came in second at 1:01.87.
Meyer also won the 200 backstroke in 2:12.36.
Junior Lindsay Wiederhold of Plainwell, Michigan (Plainwell HS), clocked a winning time in the 1,000 freestyle of 10:57.94. Wiederhold is pictured.
Junior Jorgie Watson of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Catholic Central HS), posted the fastest 100 breaststroke performance at 1:10.14.
Junior Sarah Sheridan of Richmond, Indiana (Richmond HS), and junior Stephanie Polet of Grandville, Michigan (Grandville HS), went 1-2 in 1-meter diving with scores of 283.20 and 235.94 points, respectively.
Sheridan also finished first in 3-meter diving. She had a score of 302.3.
Freshman Chloe Palajac of Dearborn, Michigan (Dearborn HS), won the 500 freestyle in 5:22.01.
Hope returns to action on Friday, Nov. 21, and Saturday, Nov. 22, when the Flying Dutch compete at the Wabash College Patrick Woehnker Invitational.
