The Hope College women's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 win against Trine University on Saturday at DeWitt Tennis Center.

The Flying Dutch improved to 10-5 overall and 3-1 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play.

Hope picked up two points apiece from freshman Nancy Benda of Birmingham (Seaholm HS) at No. 1 singles and doubles and junior Carli Capestany of Hudsonville (Hudsonville HS) at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles.

The Flying Dutch return to action on Thursday, April 17, when they play at Saint Mary's, which entered Saturday tied with Trine for third place in the MIAA.
