The Hope College women's tennis team recorded an 8-1 win at Saint Mary's College on Thursday.

The regionally ranked Flying Dutch improved to 11-5 overall and 4-1 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play.

Hope swept all three doubles matches and won the first through fifth singles flights.

The Flying Dutch received doubles and singles wins from freshman Nancy Benda of Birmingham (Seaholm HS), junior Carli Capestany of Hudsonville (Hudsonville HS), sophomore Claire Cooper of Williamston (Williamston HS) and sophomore Anna Garcia of Battle Creek (Lakeview HS).
