Hope College's Samuel Pederson finished fourth in the 10,000 meters during the Gina Relays at Hillsdale College on Thursday.
The senior from Mt. Prospect, Ill., clocked a time of 32 minutes, 18.70 seconds.
Teammate Benjamin Zink of Midland (H.H. Dow HS) led Hope in the 5,000 meters with a 24th-place run of 15:12.24.
The three-day meet resumes on Friday, April 25.
