The Hope College men's track & field team won two events at the Mousseau Classic hosted by Aquinas College at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids this weekend.
Senior James Rogers of Saginaw (Valley Lutheran HS) posted a 1,500-meter time of 3 minutes, 56.67 seconds.
Senior David Dolfin of Hingham, Wis. (Oostburg HS), won the triple jump with a leap of 43 feet, 5 ¾ inches.
It was a non-scoring meet.
Freshman Cameron Jones of Holland (Black River HS) finished runner-up in the 800 meters. He had a time of 1:56.03.
Senior Matthew Johnson of White Lake (Orchard Lake St. Mary's Prep took second in the javelin. He had a toss of 160 feet, 1 inch.
Sophomore Boone Marois of Traverse City (Central HS) placed third in the 100 meters. He had a run of 10.98 seconds.
Sophomore Andrew Borror of West Lafayette, Ind. (Harrison HS), came in third in the 1,500 at 4:04.67.
