Junior Ben Lanting of Littleton, Colo. (Front Range Christian HS), carded a 3-under-par 69 at Quail Ridge Golf Course for the low 18-hole round at the five-team tournament.

Hope totaled a first-place score of 295. The Flying Dutchmen finished seven strokes ahead of runner-up Grand Rapids Community College.

Junior Evan Telzerow of Grand Rapids (Forest Hills Northern HS) and freshman Winton Munch of Traverse City (Central HS) tied for fourth place after each shooting 75s.

Junior Ben Lewis of Grand Haven (Grand Haven HS) shot a 76 for Hope and placed sixth.

The Flying Dutch also finished ahead of Calvin College (317), Aquinas College (336) and Davenport University (350).
