Three Hope College student-athletes have been named to the 2014 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Track & Field Team — seniors David Dolfin of Hingham, Wisconsin (Oostburg HS), Steffon Mayhue of Holland, Michigan (Holland HS) and James Rogers of Saginaw, Michigan (Valley Lutheran HS).
Dolfin took third at the MIAA Field Day in the long jump. He also finished at MIAA Field Day fourth in the 400 hurdles, fifth in the 110 hurdles and eighth in the long jump.
Mayhue claimed a MIAA title in the long jump. He also led off Hope's runner-up 4x100 relay at MIAA Field Day and placed eighth in the 100 meters.
Rogers captured a MIAA championship in the 1,500 meters.
The All-MIAA track & field honors are the first for Dolfin, Mayhue and Rogers, who helped Hope finish runner-up at MIAA Field Day.
