The Hope College men's golf team finished tied for 17th place at the 2014 NCAA Division III Championship in Greensboro, N.C.
The Flying Dutchmen missed the cut for the final 36 holes of the 72-hole, four-day tournament by four strokes on Wednesday after shooting a second-round 312.

Hope ended at 27-over-par with a team score of 603 on the Grandover Resort & Conference Center's East Course. The Flying Dutchmen shared 17th place with championship host Guilford College.
Junior Ben Lewis of Grand Haven, Michigan (Grand Haven HS) led Hope on Wednesday by shooting a 3-over-par 75. He completed the tournament at 2-over and tied for 19th place.
Freshman Winton Munch of Traverse City, Michigan (Central HS), carded a second-round 77. He tied for 29th place individually at 3-over.
Lanting, a junior from Littleton, Colorado (Front Range Christian HS), shot a second-round 79 to finish at 10-over.
Junior Evan Telzerow of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Forest Hills Northern HS), recorded an 84 to finish at 15-over.
Junior Collin Breit of Muskegon, Michigan (Western Michigan Christian HS), shot an 81 to finish at 22-over.
