The Hope College men's golf team kept its spot atop the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association standings after placing third at the league jamboree hosted by Kalamazoo College on Monday.
The Flying Dutchmen shot a team score of 304 at Kalamazoo Country Club. They finished behind Trine (297) and Adrian (298).
Hope holds a one-shot lead over second-place Trine in the overall MIAA standings.

Senior Ben Lanting of Littleton, Colorado (Front Range Christian HS), and sophomore Winton Munch of Traverse City, Michigan (Traverse City Central HS), led Hope by carding 75s for sixth place.
Senior Evan Telzerow of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Forest Hills Northern HS), tied for 12th with a 76.
Senior Collin Breit of Muskegon, Michigan (Western Michigan Christian HS), tied for 18th with a 78.
Senior Ben Lewis of Grand Haven, Michigan (Grand Haven HS), tied for 22nd with a 79.
Hope returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the MIAA Jamboree hosted by Trine. Tee time is 1 p.m.
