Hope College senior Jenna Grasmeyer has been chosen the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Volleyball Player of the Week for games through September 21.
The outside hitter from Jenison, Michigan (Hudsonville Unity Christian HS), slammed 35 kills and added 26 digs, 10 aces and six blocks for the week as the top-ranked Flying Dutch remained unbeaten with three consecutive wins.
Grasmeyer broke the Hope career record for kills on Friday, Sept. 19, with 14 kills in a four-set victory over Trine.

Grasmeyer came back the next day with 14 kills and 11 digs in a sweep of defending Division III national champion Calvin that moved Hope into sole possession of first place in the MIAA.
Grasmeyer is being honored as MIAA Player of the Week for the second time this season and the seventh time in her career.
Hope returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Kalamazoo. First serve is 7 p.m.
