The Hope College volleyball team is now the unanimous top-ranked team in the nation.
Coach Becky Schmidt's Flying Dutch received all 63 first-place votes in Tuesday's American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division III Coaches Top 25 poll.
Hope, now 10-0 on the season, totaled 1,575 points to top the poll for the second consecutive week.

The Flying Dutch lead a top five that includes No. 2 California Lutheran (12-1), No. 3 Emory, Georgia (15-2), No. 4 Washington-St. Louis (16-2), and No. 5 Calvin (13-3).

Hope collected all the first-place votes after winning three matches last week, including a sweep of Calvin at DeVos Fieldhouse.
The MIAA-leading Flying Dutch returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 24, when the Flying Dutch travel to Kalamazoo for a 7 p.m. MIAA match.
