Boone Marois placed second in two events to lead the Hope College men's track & field team to a third-place finish at the Aquinas Indoor Invitational on Friday in Grand Rapids.
Marois was runner-up in the 60 meters with a time of 7.04 seconds and the 200 meters with a run of 23.14 seconds.
The Flying Dutchmen finished with a score of 63 points in the four-team event. They trailed Aquinas (194) and Spring Arbor (116). Ferris State (56) was fourth.
Jeremy Richards posted a fifth-place time in the 60-meter hurdles of 9.22.
Hope also received eighth-place finishes from Joshua Smith in the 60 meters at 7.63 and Richard Medina in the 100 meters at 54.62.
Peter Timperman was 10th in the 800 meters at 2:10.45.
Hope returns to action on Saturday, February 14, at the Calvin Indoor Invitational.
