Four seniors will captain the Hope College softball team during the 2015 season: infielder Kelsey Cooper of Romeo, Michigan (Romeo HS), pitcher/infielder Natalie Hiser of Westland, Michigan (Livonia Churchill HS), outfielder Becca Phillips of Wayland, Michigan (Wayland HS), and infielder Peyton Wells of Rockford, Michigan (Rockford HS).
Wells is a returning All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association First Team player. She is a nursing major.
Cooper is a returning All-MIAA Second Team player. She is an engineering major.
Hiser is a political science major, while Phillips majors in exercise science and psychology.
Hope was picked second in the MIAA preseason coaches poll.
