Sophomore Winton Munch of Traverse City, Michigan (Central HS), carded a 4-over-par 76 to lead the Hope College men's golf team during its Spring Break Challenge Thursday in Winter Haven, Florida.
Munch, pictured, and the Flying Dutchmen finished second out of three teams with a score of 317.
Messiah, Pennsylvania, won with a 304, while Warner, Florida, took third at 345.
Seniors Ben Lanting of Littleton, Colorado (Front Range Christian HS), and Ben Lewis of Grand Haven, Michigan (Grand Haven HS), carded 78s for Hope.
Senior Evan Telzerow of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Forest Hills Northern HS), rounded out the scoring with an 85.
Senior Collin Breit of Muskegon, Michigan (Western Michigan Christian HS), had an 85 for the Flying Dutchmen.
Hope returns to action on Tuesday, April 7, when the Flying Dutchmen host the Furniture City Classic at Macatawa Legends Golf Course.
